Ticket Information for 2008 Brain Awareness Events

Please note that registration is required for all lectures/events, and seating is limited.

Tickets for the 2008 Lectures can be purchased through:

  • Portland Center for the Performing Arts Main Box Office
    1111 SW Broadway
    Open 10am - 5pm, Monday through Saturday also open two hours before shows. The PCPA box office is closed on federal holidays.

  • Mail-in Postcard
    If you would like to purchase your tickets through our mail-in postcard, please call 503 494-0885 with your name, address and phone number and a card will be mailed to you immediately.
  • Ticketmaster
    Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster over the phone, on the internet or at any one of their several Oregon and Southwest Washington outlet locations.
    To purchase over the phone, call 503 224-4400 if you are in the Portland area, 360 573-7700 if you are in the 360 area code, or 866 866-4502 if you are calling from the 541 area code.
    To purchase tickets over the internet go to Ticketmaster.

Ticket Cost

Single tickets $17; Series tickets $60; Patron tickets $125 (prices listed do not include applicable service fees.) Patrons will receive the same reserved seat for every lecture in the front rows of the Newmark Theater. All other seats are general admission, first come first serve.
A few events are free, including the OHSU Neuroscience Town Hall, and the Marquam Hill lecture on March 11th. To reserve space at the OHSU Neuroscience Town Hall, please call 503 494-0885. Series and Patron ticket holders will receive a ticket to the March 11th lecture as part of their package. For those interested in only obtaining a ticket to the March 11th free lecture, please visit the PCPA main box office or call 503 494-0885 and request a mail-in post card. Ticketmaster ticketing fees will apply to the free lecture.

Final Cost of Tickets
 The final cost of tickets will depend on method of purchase. Below is a chart outlining the purchase options and their associated costs. Please note, all seating with exception of Patron seats, is general admission. To ensure the best seat, please arrive early.
An additional fee of $2.50 will be applied to each order if you choose to use TicketFast and print your tickets at home.
